We’re Andrew and Roxy, a husband and wife design team living in Perth, Western Australia. Both growing up in South Africa, we have always had a deep love and a passion for the outdoors, spending our childhoods in big backyards, surrounded by trees, wildlife and adventure.
From a young age, Andrew had a passion for drawing, gardening and architecture. This led to him studying architecture in South Africa, and moving to Perth shortly after his studies. Roxanne always had an interest in interior design and styling which resulted in her studying interior and landscape design. After having two beautiful children together, we decide to leave our jobs and combine our passion and love for design, thus creating RAW.
We draw a lot of our inspiration from places we have travelled, Africa and Thailand being our favourites. The more laid back, simple lifestyle reached out to us, and influences our design philosophy in every project. We believe that the use of raw organic materials, earthy tones and a strong focus on indoor and outdoor connection creates a sense of serenity, relaxation and enjoyment in all spaces we create.
